The Center for Communication and Development International (CCDI) is dedicated to empowering individuals through the art of filmmaking and creative media. We provide a platform for aspiring filmmakers to develop their skills, tell their stories, and make an impact on their communities.

Our programs offer comprehensive training in all aspects of film production, from scriptwriting and cinematography to editing and sound design. We believe that creative expression is a powerful tool for communication and positive change. Every person in every community and around the world should have the tools that enable them to become global citizens and to serve their communities at all levels.

MISSION: Our mission is to inspire the next generation of storytellers. We are committed to providing hands-on experience and professional guidance in filmmaking and photography, ensuring our students have the tools they need to succeed in the creative industry. We champion a collaborative environment where diverse voices can thrive within a coming new media commons for the world.


VISION: We envision a world where filmmaking is accessible to all. Our vision is to build a global community of skilled and socially-conscious filmmakers who use their craft to create meaningful content and drive cultural conversation. Just as the book was a vehicle for literacy , we believe the medium of film should be open to all using the new tools we have at our command.

Our Team

Erica Rentz - President and CEO

M. Psychology, M. Child Psychology, President and CEO, comes from extensive experience in community and personal development. Mrs. Rentz has experience in play therapy, Positive and Therapeutic AI best practices, family therapy and a background in Psychodrama and theatre. She is focused on mass mental health and helping all to achive a form of emotional literacy that moves us all away from the blanket anonymity of the attention economy toward a new era of anintimacy economy through generative technological change.


Richard L. Teters, Jr. - Chief Financial Officer

Retired Colonel with 30 years of active duty in the US Army, Richard brings strategic management, finance, and marketing expertise to the team. He has a strong background in entrepreneurship and has served as a professor of management, evaluating and assisting in the commercialization of numerous technologies.

Desiyanti Citra - Secretary

With over 15 years of corporate experience, Desiyanti is a detail-oriented problem solver and team player. She has worked for various companies including Georgia Department of Labor and has served as president and editor-in-chief for Indonesian community organizations. She is also an avid volunteer for several charitable causes.


Kevin Tremble - Scholarship Officer

Kevin holds a Bachelor's in Technical Communication and a Master's in Business Administration. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in International Business. With a background as a documentation specialist, he has a strong commitment to diversity and community involvement, including his work with the Big Brother/Big Sister program.

Turner Rentz, III, - Chief Technology Officer

M. Sci., Applied Physics, Ga Tech , CEO, co-founder co-founded ATR in 1995. An accomplished writer, cybersecurity engineer and software developer, Mr. Rentz' educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Georgia Tech: contributing to the development of HTTP, and helped to build the first internationalization and localization kit for the modern browser, helping to bring web browsing to the entire world in all languages and countries. He was also Principal Investigator in an effort to bring speech recognition to persons of all speech ability - an effort that increased the accuracy and reliability of speech recognition. Mr. Rentz began his work in networking for the purpose of safely executing dangerous plasma experiments in the safety of the lab underground and below. With a career spanning high technology, with work such as the Reuters Financials applications, Information Security Engineering for the Equifax Corporation, and work for Intel Corporation. Mr. Rentz is CISSP certified and is a member of the Internet Engineering Task Force, The IEEE Society, the Ga. Tech Alumni Society, and the GSGA.

Gaurav Bhatia - Public Relations Officer

Gaurav is a Georgia State University alumnus with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Master of Science in Social Foundations of Education. He has a passion for public relations, martial arts, and filmmaking, and has a strong history of volunteering for various international aid organizations.
